Each-Way Bet Calculator

An each-way bet is two equal bets: one on your selection to win and one on it to place. The place part pays a fraction of the win odds (usually 1/4 or 1/5) for finishing in the paid places.

Worked example

£10 each-way (total £20) at 10/1, 1/5 odds for 3 places. If it wins: win part £10 × 11 = £110, place part £10 × (1 + 10/5) = £30, total return £140. If it only places: £30 back (a £10 loss on the £20 total stake).
